Orientation Process Clause Samples
Orientation Process. The City Utilizes an online onboarding process followed by an in-person Employment Eligibility Verification process. The City recognizes the importance of NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021’s role in this process and the parties have agreed to the following:
a. A video presentation provided by NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 will be made available to new members prior to their first day of work as part of the City's online onboarding process. New members will be expected to review the video prior to their first day of work.
b. As part of each new member's in-person on-boarding, NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 will be permitted one-half (l/2) hour to meet with each member or group of members in person. City representatives will not be present for NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 orientation session. Members will participate without loss of compensation.
c. NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 designee(s), including, but not limited to, NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 representative, officers, stewards, and members, shall conduct the sessions covered under this agreement. City members who conduct the orientation session will do so without loss of compensation.
d. The City shall notify NCEA- SEIU, Local 102l at least ten (10) days prior to an on- boarding meeting. However, if an on-boarding meeting date is scheduled less than ten (10) days in advance, the City will notify NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 the same business day it notifies the new members of the on-boarding meeting. The City will provide NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 with a list of new members scheduled to attend the meeting at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of an on-boarding meeting.
e. In the event NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 is unable to send a representative to an on- boarding meeting, the City will work with NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 to schedule a make-up session, either at the next on-boarding meeting or at another mutually agreeable time. Wherever possible, the make-up session will occur within thirty (30) days of the original on-boarding meeting.
Orientation Process. In order to provide a comprehensive orientation to new staff regarding the policies, procedures, and philosophy of Northwest Center overall, as well as the specific details of Early Supports, the Employer will establish a two-tiered orientation process: (1) NWC Orientation, (2) Early Supports Orientation. Both tiers of the Orientation will have checklists and signature pages to be signed by both the designated staff member and the new hire once this aspect of orientation is complete. The Employer will specify and maintain specific details of orientations and checklists. The Employer will designate NWC and Early Supports specific orientation trainer(s). Both tiers of the new staff Orientation must be completed within forty-five (45) days of hire. The goal of the NWC Orientation is to provide new staff with an overview of the company-wide policies and procedures and will take place during work hours with a designated staff member. New staff will be provided with all policies and procedures relevant to their position. The goal of the Early Supports Orientation is to provide new staff with an overview of the department-specific policies, procedures, and office layout. The Early Supports Orientation will take place with a designated staff member(s) either in person or virtually. An in-person tour of the physical office spaces is required for any staff that will be working in-person from a physical location. New staff will be provided with a time to review and reflect on orientations and checklists with a designated staff member within 45 days of hire with their direct leader. No new caseload will be assigned until the completion of the shadowing portion of the mentorship program. A 90-day review outlining orientation and performance is required and will be documented as part of the Orientation process and procedure.
Orientation Process. 21.01 The Board will provide an orientation procedure for Occasional Teachers newly added to the Occasional Teacher list prior to the start of the school year and once during the school year if there is sufficient interest. It is understood that participation by the Occasional Teacher in such orientation will be voluntary and unpaid.
Orientation Process. All student nurses will attend both corporate and clinical orientation, unless they have been orientated to our organization through schooling. All students must complete the pre-placement mandatory education courses on LMS. All student nurses will be given access to the GRH electronic documentation system as a student nurse. Orientation Process. A Union representative shall be scheduled a time slot in the Orientation process.
Orientation Process.
16.1. In order to provide a comprehensive orientation to new staff regarding the policies, procedures, and philosophy of the center overall, as well as the specific classroom(s) new staff members will be working in, Guild Small Faces will establish a two-tiered orientation process: Center Orientation and Classroom Orientation. Both tiers of the Orientation will have checklists and signature pages to be signed by both the designated staff member and the new hire once this aspect of orientation is complete. Small Faces will specify and maintain specific details of orientations and checklists. Each center will designate center and classroom orientation trainer(s). Each center is responsible for completing both tiers of new staff orientation within thirty (30) days of hire.
16.2. The goal of the Center Orientation is to provide new staff with an overview of the center-wide policies and procedures, and will take place outside the classroom with a designated staff member. Employees are not required to be responsible for caring for children during the Center Orientation. New staff will be provided all policies and procedures relevant to their position and classroom.
16.3. The goal of the Classroom Orientation is to provide new staff with an overview of the classroom-specific layout, procedures, and activities. The Classroom Orientation will take place in the classroom(s) with a designated staff member, will include a walk-through of the classroom and a review of the daily routine.
16.4. New employees will be provided 24 hours of paid time to complete the Center and Classroom Orientations.
16.5. New staff will be provided with a time to review and reflect on orientations and checklists with a designated staff member within 45 days of hire.
