OSS Licenses Sample Clauses

The OSS Licenses clause defines the terms under which open source software (OSS) components included in a product or service are licensed and used. It typically specifies that any OSS incorporated is subject to its own license terms, which may differ from the main agreement, and may require the distribution of license texts or source code to end users. This clause ensures legal compliance with open source obligations and clarifies the rights and responsibilities of both parties regarding OSS, thereby reducing the risk of inadvertent license violations.
