Common use of Other Change Orders Clause in Contracts

Other Change Orders. For Change Orders involving the following situations that would materially affect the completion of the Work by lengthening the critical path of the Construction Progress Schedule, the Design Professional shall determine the appropriate number of days and thereby extend the Material Completion and Occupancy Date. The CM/GC expressly agrees that the CM/GC’s sole monetary remedy for such extensions of Contract Time shall remain limited by the maximum amount for Time Dependent Overhead Costs (as amended) in the Contract. Changes due to Subsurface or Other Unforeseen Conditions, Article 3.4.12. Changes for Compensable Rock, Article 3.4.13. Changes deleting work, Paragraph 3.4.10.4 To be Processed as a Part of the Change Order Process. Extensions of Time and compensation for Time Dependent Overhead Costs for all Change Orders are to be processed as a part of each Change Order pursuant to Article 3.4.6.
