OTHER INDIAN BANDS Clause Samples

The "Other Indian Bands" clause defines how the agreement addresses the rights, interests, or involvement of Indigenous groups other than the primary band party to the contract. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the terms of the agreement extend to, affect, or require consultation with other recognized Indian bands, and may outline procedures for notification or engagement if their interests are implicated. Its core function is to prevent misunderstandings or disputes by specifying the scope of the agreement in relation to other Indigenous groups, ensuring clarity about who is bound or affected by the contract's provisions.
