Common use of Other Insurances Clause in Contracts

Other Insurances. If at the time of a claim there is another insurance policy in the Insured’s name which covers the Insured or the Insured Person for the same expense or loss, the Company will only pay a proportion of the claim, determined by reference to the cover provided by each of the policies, except for Section A, items 1 – 6 on the Schedule, which are payable in full. 13 Other Interests No person other than the Insured (or an Insured Person with the express permission of the Insured) can make a claim under this policy.
