Overseas duty. (a) When a Pilot conducts a Layover at an overseas port they shall be paid an overseas operation allowance at the rate specified in Appendix A for each night that the Pilot is away from their Home Base. (b) VARA will be responsible for the provisions and finalisation prior to departure of such flights of all items to facilitate the conduct of the operation by the Pilot. These items shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the requisite customs and entry documentation, accommodation, adequate currency or credit cards valid in the ports to be visited and letters of introduction or similar documentation to facilitate assistance from Australian diplomatic consular representatives, etc. (c) Prior to a Pilot travelling overseas on company duty, VARA will consult with the Pilot and the WRC on the terms and conditions under which the Pilot is so engaged.
Overseas duty. 25.1 Other than for training purposes a pilot shall not be rostered for overseas duty unless the pilot has made him/herself available for such duty. 25.2 The Company shall be responsible for the provision and finalisation, prior to departure of such flights, of all items to facilitate the conduct of the operation by the pilot. These items shall include but not necessarily be limited to the requisite customs and entry documentation, accommodation, adequate currency or credit cards valid in the ports to be visited and letters of introduction or similar documentation to facilitate assistance from Australian diplomatic consular representatives or appropriate neutral representatives. All reasonable expenses incurred by a pilot on overseas duty shall be reimbursed by the Company, including visa, work permit and vaccination expenses, provided that passport costs, except for initial passport issue where the pilot requires the passport for overseas training, will not be paid. 25.3 Details of the working conditions, duration of tours, additions to salary and allowances, health and sickness travel insurance, if any, shall be agreed in writing by the pilot and the Company. Subject to operational circumstances, these will be agreed prior to departure.

These items shall include but not necessarily be limited to the requisite customs and entry documentation, accommodation, adequate currency or credit cards valid in the ports to be visited and letters of introduction or similar documentation to facilitate assistance from Australian diplomatic consular representatives or appropriate neutral representative. 15.5.3 The Company shall pay passport and vaccination expenses incurred by a Pilot to operate overseas, with no out of pocket expense to the pilot. 15.5.4 Prior to a Pilot travelling overseas on Company duty the Company via the WRC will consult to establish the terms and conditions under which the Pilot is so engaged.

C. Visa and vaccination expenses incurred by a pilot to operate overseas will be reimbursed by the employer.

  • INTERNATIONAL BOYCOTT PROHIBITION In accordance with Section 220-f of the Labor Law and Section 139-h of the State Finance Law, if this contract exceeds $5,000, the Contractor agrees, as a material condition of the contract, that neither the Contractor nor any substantially owned or affiliated person, firm, partnership or corporation has participated, is participating, or shall participate in an international boycott in violation of the federal Export Administration Act of 1979 (50 USC App. Sections 2401 et seq.) or regulations thereunder. If such Contractor, or any of the aforesaid affiliates of Contractor, is convicted or is otherwise found to have violated said laws or regulations upon the final determination of the United States Commerce Department or any other appropriate agency of the United States subsequent to the contract's execution, such contract, amendment or modification thereto shall be rendered forfeit and void. The Contractor shall so notify the State Comptroller within five (5) business days of such conviction, determination or disposition of appeal (2NYCRR 105.4).

  • Anti-Money Laundering and Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Programs The Trust acknowledges that it has had an opportunity to review, consider and comment upon the written procedures provided by USBFS describing various tools used by USBFS which are designed to promote the detection and reporting of potential money laundering activity and identity theft by monitoring certain aspects of shareholder activity as well as written procedures for verifying a customer’s identity (collectively, the “Procedures”). Further, the Trust and USBFS have each determined that the Procedures, as part of the Trust’s overall Anti-Money Laundering Program and Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program, are reasonably designed to: (i) prevent each Fund from being used for money laundering or the financing of terrorist activities; (ii) prevent identity theft; and (iii) achieve compliance with the applicable provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 and the USA Patriot Act of 2001 and the implementing regulations thereunder. Based on this determination, the Trust hereby instructs and directs USBFS to implement the Procedures on the Trust’s behalf, as such may be amended or revised from time to time. It is contemplated that these Procedures will be amended from time to time by the parties as additional regulations are adopted and/or regulatory guidance is provided relating to the Trust’s anti-money laundering and identity theft responsibilities. USBFS agrees to provide to the Trust: (a) Prompt written notification of any transaction or combination of transactions that USBFS believes, based on the Procedures, evidence money laundering or identity theft activities in connection with the Trust or any Fund shareholder; (b) Prompt written notification of any customer(s) that USBFS reasonably believes, based upon the Procedures, to be engaged in money laundering or identity theft activities, provided that the Trust agrees not to communicate this information to the customer; (c) Any reports received by USBFS from any government agency or applicable industry self-regulatory organization pertaining to USBFS’ Anti-Money Laundering Program or the Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program on behalf of the Trust; (d) Prompt written notification of any action taken in response to anti-money laundering violations or identity theft activity as described in (a), (b) or (c) immediately above; and (e) Certified annual and quarterly reports of its monitoring and customer identification activities pursuant to the Procedures on behalf of the Trust. The Trust hereby directs, and USBFS acknowledges, that USBFS shall (i) permit federal regulators access to such information and records maintained by USBFS and relating to USBFS’ implementation of the Procedures, on behalf of the Trust, as they may request, and (ii) permit such federal regulators to inspect USBFS’ implementation of the Procedures on behalf of the Trust.
