OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. 13.1 The Cardmember may use the Credit Card outside Malaysia where there are Authorised Merchants and/or Authorised Cash Outlets. 13.2 The Cardmember may use the Credit Card for cash withdrawal through designated ATMs installed in such approved countries as shall be announced by Maybank and/or any Merchant Affiliate of Visa International from time to time. 13.3 Where the Cardmember uses the Credit Card outside Malaysia, the transactions shall be charged in the official currency of the country concerned and converted into Ringgit Malaysia at such exchange rate and at such time as may be determined by Visa International at its absolute discretion on the date it is processed by Visa International, depending on the card used. In addition, the Cardmember also has to pay the administrative costs at a rate of 1% or at other rates will be determined by Maybank for conversion transactions made in foreign currencies. 13.4 Wherever applicable, the Cardmember shall authorise Maybank to take such steps to comply with the relevant Exchange Control Regulation issued by Bank Negara Malaysia in respect of any overseas transactions.

OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. 15.1 The Cardmember may use the Card outside Malaysia where there are Authorised Merchants and/or Authorised Cash Outlets. 15.2 The Cardmember may use the Card for Cash Withdrawal through designated ATMs installed in such approved countries as shall be announced by the Bank and/or any Merchant Affiliate of Mastercard from time to time. 15.3 Card transactions effected in currencies other than Ringgit Malaysia will be debited to the Cardmember’s account after conversion into Ringgit Malaysia, at the exchange rate as determined by Visa International and MasterCard International on the day of conversion. The conversion rate is subject to any transaction fee levied by Visa International. The Cardmember shall pay the Bank an administration cost of 1% of the converted amount for such transactions. 15.4 Wherever applicable, the Cardmember shall authorise the Bank to take such steps to comply with the relevant Foreign Exchange Administration Rules issued by Bank Negara Malaysia in respect of any overseas transactions.

All foreign charges converted by American Express apply a conversion factor of 2.5% to the converted amount. A charge that is made in foreign currency other than U.S. Dollars will, when the conversion is done by American Express, be converted into U.S. Dollars before being converted in the Cardmember billing currency. 14.6. Transactions conducted outside Malaysia will be converted to Ringgit Malaysia on the date the transaction is received and/or processed. The converted amount is shown in the Cardmember’s statement. The exchange rate may differ from the rate charged on the date of transaction due to market fluctuation. The exchange rate used to convert the transaction made in foreign currency represents a bundling of currency conversion components of 1.25% imposed by Visa International or Mastercard International and 1% or at such other rate imposed by Maybank.
OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. 14.1 The Cardholder may use the VISA/MASTERCARD CARD outside Malaysia at the Authorised Merchants and/or Authorised Cash Outlets; 14.2 The Cardholder may use the VISA/MASTERCARD CARD for Cash Advance under VISA/MASTERCARD CARD Account through designated ATM installed in such countries as approved by the Bank and/or member Institution of Visa International and/or MasterCard International from time to time; 14.3 Foreign currency transactions are first converted to US Dollars by Visa International or MasterCard International before the US Dollars are subsequently converted to Ringgit Malaysia on the date the transaction is posted into the Cardholder’s VISA/MASTERCARD Card Account at the conversion rate and charges as determined by Visa International or MasterCard International and shall be inclusive of 1% foreign exchange spread imposed by the Bank; 14.4 All inter-country transactions by the Cardholder shall not violate the laws existing in the country where the transaction is effected. Where applicable, the Cardholder shall comply with the Foreign Exchange Administration issued by Bank Negara Malaysia and shall be liable for any infringement of such regulation, including any amendment thereto.

OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. 5.1 The Cardmember may use the Card outside Malaysia at VISA or MasterCard Merchants, VISA Member Bank or MasterCard Member Bank, or VISA or MasterCard ATMs. 5.2 All international or overseas Card transactions, including any Cash Advance, are subject to the laws of the country where such transactions are done. (a) If a transaction is made in a foreign currency, MasterCard or VISA, depending on which card is used, will convert the transaction into a Ringgit Malaysia equivalent at the conversion rate as determined by MasterCard or VISA as the date it is processed by MasterCard or VISA. The amount of the transaction, in foreign currency and Ringgit Malaysia equivalent, will be stated in the Card Statement. (b) The Cardmember will also need to pay an administration cost at 1% of the transactions made in foreign currencies or at such other rate as RHB Bank may determine for the conversion of the transactions made in foreign currencies. Such administration cost will be included in the converted amount stated in the Card Statement. 5.4 Whenever applicable, the Cardmember must comply with Foreign Exchange Administration Rules issued by Bank Negara Malaysia and all other relevant laws and regulatory requirements in respect of such international or overseas Card transactions, and the Cardmember is solely liable for any infringement of such regulatory requirements, regulations or laws.

OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. 12.1 The Cardmember shall notify the Bank in advance of his intention to use the Card for overseas Transactions by contacting the Bank or by such other means prescribed by the Bank. 12.2 The Cardmember may use the Card to perform the Transactions outside Malaysia where there are Authorised Merchants and/or authorised cash outlets (if any). 12.3 The Cardmember may use the Card for cash withdrawal through CUP ATMs installed in such approved countries as shall be determined by the Bank and/or any merchant affiliates of the Card. 12.4 Where the Cardmember uses the Card outside Malaysia, the Transactions shall be charged in the official currency of the country concerned and converted into Ringgit Malaysia at the conversion rate as determined by UnionPay International at its absolute discretion. In addition, you will also have to pay Foreign Exchange Spread of 1% of the converted Ringgit Malaysia amount for the conversion of the transactions made in foreign currency. Where the Cardmember has a Renminbi Account with the Bank, transactions made within Mainland China will be debited directly from the Cardmember’s Renminbi Account. The exchange may differ from the rate in effect on the date of the transaction due to market fluctuations. Such rate imposed shall be final and conclusive and you shall bear all exchange risks, losses, commission and other bank charges which may thereby incurred. 12.5 All inter country Transactions and the usage of the Card shall be subject to the laws existing in the country where the Transaction originates.

The exchange rate will be based on the rate determined by Visa International at such time. The exchange rate may differ from the rate in the effect on the date of transaction due to market fluctuations. 14.5 For foreign charges converted by American Express®, American Express® applies a conversion factor of 2.5% to the converted amount. A charge that is made in foreign currency other than U.S. Dollars will, when the conversion is done by American Express®, be converted into U.S. Dollars before being converted into Billing Currency, Ringgit Malaysia. 14.6 Wherever applicable, the Cardmember shall authorise the Bank to take such steps to comply with the relevant Exchange Control Regulation issued by Bank Negara Malaysia in respect of any overseas transactions.
OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS. (a) The balance on your Account is held in British pounds sterling. If you use your Cashplus Credit Card to make Purchases in another currency, the amount will be converted to British pounds sterling in accordance with applicable card association rules. The currency conversion rate used on the processing date may differ from the rate that would have been used on the transaction date or the date when it is applied to your Account balance. We may also charge you a fee as detailed in section 4.6. (b) Your Statement will show the amount of the transaction in British pounds sterling after the currency conversion and the effective exchange rate have been applied.
