Overtime Work Schedule. The City has the right to schedule overtime work as required in the manner most advantageous to the City and consistent with the requirement of municipal employment and the public interest. Overtime work assignments shall first be offered on a voluntary basis to employees, after which assignments shall be made by the Department Manager.
Overtime Work Schedule. Overtime work authorized by the Employer or its designate shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for work in excess of forty (40) hours per week and in case of emergency, at times other than the normally scheduled work period. • Employees scheduled to work during holiday recess or holiday weekend will be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2), effective July 1, 2013.
