Common use of OWNER'S RIGHT TO COMPLETE THE WORK Clause in Contracts

OWNER'S RIGHT TO COMPLETE THE WORK. If the Contractor defaults or neglects to carry out the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, or fails to perform any provision of the Contract, the Owner may, after seven (7) days' written notice to the Contractor, and without prejudice to any other remedy he may have, proceed to make such other necessary and reasonable arrangements to carry out the work in accordance with the Contract Documents, all at the expense of the Contractor, including the Owner's attorneys' fees and other costs.
