Common use of OWNER'S STANDARDS Clause in Contracts

OWNER'S STANDARDS. The Owner reserves the right, but assumes no duty, to establish and enforce standards, and to change the same from time to time, for the protection of persons and property, with which the Contractor shall comply, and to review the efficiency of all protective measures taken by the Contractor. The exercise of or failure to exercise any or all of these acts by the Owner shall not relieve the Contractor of its duties and responsibilities under this Contract, and the Owner shall not thereby assume, not be deemed to have assumed, any such duties or responsibilities of the Contractor.
