Common use of OWNERSHIP AND USE OF RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS Clause in Contracts

OWNERSHIP AND USE OF RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS. Original documents, drawings, designs, reports, or any other records developed or created under this Contract shall belong to and become the property of the City; provided, however, the Consultant has the right, subject to confidentiality, to use the Consultant’s work product for internal instructional and other purposes (including as an anonymized template for subsequent work product for the City or other clients). All records submitted by the City to the Consultant will be safeguarded by the Consultant. The Consultant shall make such data, documents, and files available to the City
