Part-time Credit Clause Samples

The Part-time Credit clause defines how credit or benefits are allocated to employees who work less than full-time hours. Typically, this clause outlines the proportionate calculation of entitlements such as leave, pay, or service credits based on the number of hours or days worked relative to a full-time schedule. For example, a part-time employee working 50% of full-time hours would receive half the standard annual leave. The core function of this clause is to ensure fairness and clarity in the distribution of employment benefits, preventing disputes and aligning entitlements with actual work performed.
