Common use of Participants agree to teach in the Centralia Clause in Contracts

Participants agree to teach in the Centralia. School District’s special education program for a minimum of five (5) years. This term may begin while the endorsement/certification program is underway. The five year term begins with the first school year the participant is assigned to a special education position. If the participant teaches less than five (5) years within the district’s special education program, he/she will be required to repay tuition/material costs. The amount of repayment will be calculated at twenty percent (20%) of the total cost of the earned endorsement program for each Appendix D yearprior to meeting the five-year commitment. If a participant elects to leave the program prior to completion of his/her endorsement, he/she will be expected to reimburse the district for all costs incurred by the District for the period of time they were enrolled.
