Common use of Participation in the Program Clause in Contracts

Participation in the Program. I understand and acknowledge that the University reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time for any reason whatsoever, to remove me from the Program. I further understand and acknowledge that the University has the right to enforce its rules and regulations during the course of the Program, and that in doing so the University can impose sanctions up to and including removal from the Program. I understand and acknowledge that due to the circumstances of foreign study programs, procedures for notice, hearing and appeal applicable to students disciplinary proceedings at the University do not apply. If during the course of the Program my conduct violates any University rule or regulation, I may be referred to the appropriate University officials for further disciplinary action upon my return from the Program. In the event I am removed from the Program, then, in that event, no refund of fees will be provided and I will be responsible for my return expenses. In the event I elect to voluntarily leave the Program early, then, in that event, I will provide written notice to the University, and no refund of fees will be provided and I will be responsible for my return expenses.
