Payment amount and procedures. The City shall pay the Contractor the relevant unit price specified in Attachment A for each unit of work performed under this Contract, but not to exceed a total of One Hundred Eleven Thousand, Five Hundred Seven Dollars and no/cents ($111,507.00), which amount includes all applicable sales tax. The payment amount shall exclude approved change orders. The Contractor shall submit, in a format acceptable to the City, monthly invoices for work and services performed in a previous calendar month. The City shall pay for the portion of the work described in the invoice that has been completed by the Contractor and approved by the City. The City’s payment shall not constitute a waiver of the City’s right to final inspection and acceptance of the work.
