Common use of Payment for Covered Prescription Services Clause in Contracts

Payment for Covered Prescription Services. The parties agree that SOUTHERN SCRIPTS will reimburse PHARMACY for PHARMACY’S provision of Covered Prescription Services the rates set forth in Exhibit A and Exhibit B. PHARMACY agrees to accept as payment in full for Covered Prescription Services provided to a Member the amounts provided for in this Agreement, including the applicable Exhibit A and Exhibit B hereto and any rate addenda or amendments entered into or agreed to by the parties on and after the effective date of this Agreement. Claims rates are determined based upon Claim type, such as Brand, Generic, Specialty, and a drug on the MAC list. PHARMACY hereby agrees to receive payment either through ACH Direct Deposit or Virtual Credit Card. PHARMACY is responsible for any fees charged by their banking institution for Virtual Credit Card payments. PHARMACY acknowledges and agrees that SOUTHERN SCRIPTS will issue payment through virtual credit card if PHARMACY does not provided ACH direct deposit information prior to adjudication of claims. Any bank charges associated with canceled checks and/or voided payments shall be deducted from amounts owed to PHARMACY.
