Payment for Record Checks. To assist in comporting with the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.291 as now in effect or hereafter amended, the Board will bear the cost of one (1) BCII and FBI record check every five (5) years for each professional staff member who is in the bargaining unit at the time that the record check is requested pursuant to such section, provided that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, no such payment by the Board shall be required for any record check requested prior to the later of September 6, 2008 or the day after any such other date that the Ohio State Board of Education shall prescribe as the initial date under Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.291(A)(4).
