Common use of Payment for Termination Clause in Contracts

Payment for Termination. In the event of termination, City shall pay the Artist according to the payment schedule, on an actual work basis, or terms in the Basic Services, in City’s discretion. The Artist shall furnish a complete accounting of all services performed through the date of termination, less any sums already received by the Artist as of the date of termination. The City will consider this accounting in determining payment due, less any appropriate damages as City may determine.
