Payment for Working as a Temporary Supervisor. a. Any employee (except equipment mechanic) who is assigned to serve as a temporary supervisor for a period of one (1) eight (8) hour workday during the workweek (Monday thru Friday) shall be paid an additional one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours worked. Such assignments shall not be split for the purpose of avoiding payment under this Section. When the equipment mechanic is assigned to serve as a temporary supervisor for a period of one (1) workweek (Monday thru Friday) he/she shall be paid an additional one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours worked. Such assignments shall not be split for the purpose of avoiding payment under this Section.
