AGMA shall have the right to require that Company's check be certified whenever it deems it to be necessary. Certified check will not be required when appropriate bond is in ARTIST's Standard ARTIST's Contractplace as per Paragraph 10 above.
D. ARTISTS (d) Upon arrival in the Company's city of origination, Artists shall be paid per diem through the first Saturday of engagement and shall be paid per diem for subsequent weeks of engagement on the Friday of each week thereafter.
(e) For Artists contracted at minimum rate for which airline transportation is provided, Company will reimburse such Artists upon submission of receipts for transportation by airport bus or shuttle service to and from the airport of the city of departure. For Artists for whom Company does not offer reasonable transportation to and from the airport in Los Angeles, costs of transportation by airport bus or shuttle service shall be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts.
(f) Notwithstanding any other provision herein, payment shall be made to Choristers and Dancers as follows:
(1) All Choristers and Dancers shall be paid no less later than the 5th day following the end of each payroll.
(2) Every payment to a Chorister, Dancer, or Production Staff member shall be accompanied by a statement specifying the name(s) of the production(s), the date of each performance, the number of rehearsal hours at each rate of pay (if applicable), the dates of the first seven and last rehearsals for which payment is being made, each type of deduction made, and the nature of each special payment, as well as separate totals for performance, rehearsal, broadcast fee, or other special payment(s), and each deduction.
(73) days of ARTISTS’ contracted per diem upon arrival All compensation to any Chorister in MANAGEMENT’s city of origination and a production for covering a Principal role in the same production, including rehearsal compensation for such role coverage, may be paid in a single payment, which shall receive each subsequent week’s per diem be due no later than the first day of final Chorus payroll for such production.
(g) Any Artist may have payment made to an individual bank account by Direct Deposit by filing the week for which proper enrollment forms with the per diem is being paid, unless otherwise requested by ARTISTPayroll Manager. In additionlieu of a paycheck, any Artist who elects to enroll in the Direct Deposit method of payment will still receive a detailed voucher listing all non-resident ARTISTS contracted at minimum rate shall receive the equivalent of bus or airport shuttle transportation expenses to payments and from the airports, bus terminal and railway stations upon submission of receiptsdeductions.
E. When MANAGEMENT provides (or is prepared to provide) suitable lodging, MANAGEMENT may satisfy the per diem requirement herein by the payment of an amount equal to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX hereof.
F. MANAGEMENT will provide ARTIST with a written breakdown of fees and per diem or meal allowance as part of an attachment to the Standard ARTIST's Contract. PAYMENT TO ARTISTS. A.
a. Before the first payroll, ARTISTS shall receive a listing of the uniform deductions to be made from each payroll check throughout the season and dates of payroll. EMPLOYER will provide AGMA with contracts no later than six (6) weeks before the first rehearsal and AGMA will then provide the EMPLOYER with the dues deduction list no later than one (1) week before rehearsals begin. EMPLOYER will inform AGMA of this date when contracts are submitted.
b. Production Staff and Choristers shall be engaged as employees. ARTISTS engaged on a weekly or hourly and per performance basis shall be paid no later than Friday on the fifteenth and the last day of each week of engagement. [See also payment for CHORISTERS, Article XXXI.B.17]the month.
B. c. PRINCIPAL ARTISTS engaged on a per performance basis shall receive one third (1/3) of their contracted rate via direct deposit within three (3) business days following their first rehearsal, with the remainder paid via direct deposit within three (3) business days after the final performance. Artists shall receive their compensation by check if they make arrangements to do so at least sixty (60) days prior to their first rehearsal..
d. Payments shall be paid made in cash or by company check no later than the beginning of each performance. In addition, all non-resident ARTISTS contracted at minimum rate shall receive the equivalent of bus or airport shuttle transportation expenses to and from the airports, bus terminal and railway stations upon submission of receiptsreceipts unless such transportation is provided by OPERA THEATRE. Such per diem payments shall be made by separate check (unless a single cumulative payroll check provides a complete delineation of fees, per diems, deductions, etc.) and not considered part of ARTIST's performance or weekly compensation.
E. (e) When MANAGEMENT provides an ARTIST is required to be present during any day for two (2) or is prepared more separate services, defined as two (2) or more calls for rehearsal, performance, costume fitting, wig fitting, publicity photos, etc., with a separation of three (3) or more hours between the end of one call and the commencement of the next call, such ARTIST shall be reimbursed for mileage incurred for travel to provideand from the ARTIST's residence in the city of origination and the site of the service for the second and all subsequent calls in the day at the then current rate provided by OPERA THEATRE as reimbursement for business use of a car. ARTIST shall provide appropriate documentation on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE no later than the last day of the current season.

(g) Each ARTIST shall receive full payment of an amount equal remedies for violations of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, regardless of whether such ARTIST shall have two (2) or more Individual Artist's Contracts with OPERA THEATRE which may overlap with respect to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX hereoftimes of engagement.
F. MANAGEMENT will (h) It is OPERA THEATRE's responsibility to provide transportation on behalf of ARTISTS to and from OPERA THEATRE's city of origination and the ARTIST's domicile. OPERA THEATRE satisfies this obligation by providing each PRINCIPAL PERFORMING ARTIST and STAGE DIRECTOR with a round trip airplane ticket, at the lowest prevailing rate, between ARTIST's domicile and OPERA THEATRE's city of origination, or the equivalent in cash, at the ARTIST's option. OPERA THEATRE satisfies this obligation for all other ARTIST's by providing each such ARTIST with a written breakdown round trip airplane ticket at the lowest prevailing rate, between the ARTIST's domicile and OPERA THEATRE's city of fees origination, or the cash equivalent, or mileage reimbursement up to $500.00 at the then current rate provided by OPERA THEATRE as reimbursement for business use of a car, all at the ARTIST's option. Reimbursement for mileage will be made to the ARTIST upon receipt of appropriate documentation on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE for reimbursement for business use of a car. OPERA THEATRE shall, upon request, provide the ARTIST with an estimated reimbursement prior to the ARTIST's arrival at the city of origination and the ARTIST shall provide appropriate documentation upon arrival in St. Louis on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE for reimbursement for business use of a car. Reimbursement forms requesting adjustments to estimated reimbursements must be received no later than the last day of the current season to qualify for such reimbursement.
(i) Payments for other than the specified per diem or meal allowance as part of an attachment and regular rehearsal and performance compensation, including, but not limited to overtime payments, extraordinary risk, and penalty payments, shall be paid not later than the payroll period immediately subsequent to the Standard ARTIST's Contract. Such attachment shall also inform ARTIST event requiring such payments have occurred, unless otherwise set forth herein.

F. MANAGEMENT (f) No later than the last performance, the EMPLOYER will provide ARTIST with a written breakdown of fees and per diem diem, or meal allowance allowances as part of an attachment to appropriate.
(g) Employer shall provide “gate passes” for all ARTISTS, their respective spouses or equivalents upon specific request. These gate passes shall be obtained from and controlled by the Standard ARTIST's Contract. STAGE DIRECTORS, an ARTIST making a role debut may elect to receive an advance on ARTIST's per performance fees of up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) upon arrival to defray ARTIST’s role preparation expenses. The remaining compensation and their assistants, CHOREOGRAPHERS, and their assistants, and COVERS will be paid in equal amounts at each performance pursuant to the provisions of the production for which ARTIST is engagedtheir Standard Artist Contract.

E. I. When MANAGEMENT provides (or is prepared to provide) suitable lodging, MANAGEMENT may satisfy the per diem requirement herein by the payment of an amount equal to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX hereofXIX.A. hereof .
F. J. No later than the last performance, MANAGEMENT will provide ARTIST with a written breakdown of fees and per diem diem, or meal allowance as part of an attachment to the Standard ARTIST's Contract. Such attachment shall also inform ARTIST that HGO makes contributions to AGMA’s Health Fund Plan B on ARTIST’s behalf. [See Exhibit D as attachedappropriate.]

PAYMENT TO ARTISTS. A.
(a) ARTISTS engaged on a weekly basis shall be paid no later than Friday the day prior to the last banking day of each week of engagement. [See also payment for CHORISTERS, Article XXXI.B.17].
B. (b) ARTISTS engaged on a per performance basis shall be paid no later than the day prior to the last banking day of each week of engagement or the last day of engagement, whichever is earlier, unless otherwise agreed upon in ARTIST's Individual Artist's Contract.
(c) Payments shall be made in cash or by company check no later than the beginning of each performance. In lieu of the above, however, ARTISTS may submit bank transfer information to MANAGEMENT and instruct MANAGEMENT to transfer the funds on the first business day following each performance. Upon written request to MANAGEMENT, an ARTIST making a role debut may elect to receive an advance on ARTIST's per performance fees of up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) upon arrival to defray ARTIST’s role preparation expenses. The remaining compensation will be paid in equal amounts at each performance of the production for which ARTIST is engaged.
C. All payments shall be made in United States dollars, regardless of where performances take place, unless otherwise agreed upon in ARTIST. AGMA shall have the right to require that OPERA THEATRE's Standard ARTIST's Contractcheck be certified whenever it deems it to be necessary.
D. (d) ARTISTS shall be paid no less than the first seven (7) days 50% of ARTISTS’ their contracted per diem upon arrival in MANAGEMENT’s the OPERA THEATRE's city of origination and shall receive the remainder of each subsequent week’s 's (or partial week’s) per diem no later than the first (1st) day of the week for which the per diem is being paid, unless otherwise requested by ARTIST. In addition, all non-resident ARTISTS contracted at minimum rate shall receive the equivalent of bus or airport shuttle transportation expenses to and from the airports, bus terminal terminals and railway stations upon submission of receiptsreceipts unless such transportation is provided by OPERA THEATRE. Such per diem payments shall be made by separate check (unless a single cumulative payroll check provides a complete delineation of fees, per diems, deductions, etc.) and not considered part of ARTIST's performance or weekly compensation.
E. (e) When MANAGEMENT provides an ARTIST is required to be present during any day for two (2) or is prepared more separate services, defined as two (2) or more calls for rehearsal, performance, costume fitting, wig fitting, publicity photos, etc., with a separation of three (3) or more hours between the end of one call and the commencement of the next call, such ARTIST shall be reimbursed for mileage incurred for travel to provideand from the ARTIST's residence in the city of origination and the site of the service for the second and all subsequent calls in the day at the then current rate provided by OPERA THEATRE as reimbursement for business use of a car. ARTIST shall provide appropriate documentation on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE no later than the last day of the current season.
(f) suitable lodgingAll overtime and penalty payments (including payments for violations of free days, MANAGEMENT rest times, work spans, etc.), and/or payments, if any, for covering of roles shall be paid in addition to (i.e., shall not be credited against) any over scale compensation which the ARTIST may satisfy receive according to the per diem requirement herein by the terms of his Individual Artist's Contract.
(g) Each ARTIST shall receive full payment of an amount equal remedies for violations of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, regardless of whether such ARTIST shall have two (2) or more Individual Artist's Contracts with OPERA THEATRE which may overlap with respect to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX hereoftimes of engagement.
F. MANAGEMENT will (h) It is OPERA THEATRE's responsibility to provide transportation on behalf of ARTISTS to and from OPERA THEATRE's city of origination and the ARTIST's domicile:
(1) OPERA THEATRE satisfies this obligation by providing each PRINCIPAL PERFORMING ARTIST and STAGE DIRECTOR with a round trip airplane ticket, at the lowest prevailing rate, between ARTIST's domicile and OPERA THEATRE's city of origination, or the equivalent in cash, at the ARTIST's option.
(2) OPERA THEATRE satisfies this obligation for all other ARTISTS by providing each such ARTIST with a written breakdown round trip airplane ticket, at the lowest prevailing rate, between the ARTIST's domicile and OPERA THEATRE's city of fees origination, or the cash equivalent, or mileage reimbursement up to FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) at the then current federal rate provided by OPERA THEATRE as reimbursement for business use of a car, all at the ARTIST's option.
(3) In addition to the foregoing, Opera Theatre shall reimburse ARTISTS traveling by airplane for any airline baggage fees, a maximum of two (2) bags each way, upon receipt of appropriate documentation of such fees.
(4) Reimbursement for mileage will be made to the ARTIST upon receipt of appropriate documentation on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE for reimbursement for business use of a car. OPERA THEATRE shall, upon request, provide the ARTIST with an estimated reimbursement prior to the ARTIST's arrival at the city of origination and the ARTIST shall provide appropriate documentation upon arrival in St Louis on the forms utilized by OPERA THEATRE for reimbursement for business use of a car. Reimbursement forms requesting adjustments to estimated reimbursements must be received no later than the last day of the current season to qualify for such reimbursement.
(i) Payments for other than the specified per diem or meal allowance as part of an attachment and regular rehearsal and performance compensation, including, but not limited to overtime payments, extraordinary risk, and penalty payments, shall be paid not later than the payroll period immediately subsequent to the Standard ARTIST's Contractevent requiring such payments have occurred, unless otherwise set forth herein.
(j) OPERA THEATRE, to the extent that it does not incur excessive additional expense, will provide ARTISTS with the option of receiving payment by direct deposit.
(k) Delegates will be given a copy of weekly overtime calculation sheets. Such attachment shall also inform ARTIST that HGO makes contributions OPERA THEATRE will, as per standard practice, make every effort to AGMA’s Health Fund Plan B reconcile any confirmed errors in the subsequent payroll run, provided such can be submitted to the automated payroll service by 12:00 PM on ARTIST’s behalf. PAYMENT TO ARTISTS.

D. PRODUCTION STAFF shall be paid no later than the funds on Friday immediately following the first business day following each performance. Upon written request end of the previous normal work week and shall be entitled to MANAGEMENTinstruct MANAGEMENT to electronically deposit their salaries (direct deposit).
E. STAGE DIRECTORS, an ARTIST making a role debut may elect to receive an advance on ARTIST's per performance fees of up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) upon arrival to defray ARTIST’s role preparation expenses. The remaining compensation and their assistants, CHOREOGRAPHERS, and their assistants, and COVERS will be paid in equal amounts pursuant to the provisions of their Individual Artist Agreement.
F. When an ARTIST engaged on a weekly basis is engaged for a period of less than one (1) week, they shall be compensated on a pro rata basis at each performance a minimum of one-sixth (1/6) of the weekly rate for each day of the engagement period. This shall not supersede any minimum contract period stipulated elsewhere in this Agreement, and MANAGEMENT shall not engage ARTISTS on partial weeks to avoid offering continuous employment in a production for which ARTIST is engagedperiod.
C. All G. Except as otherwise provided herein payments shall be made in cash, electronic transfer or by company check in United States dollars, regardless of where performances take place, unless otherwise agreed upon in ARTIST's Standard ARTIST's Contract.
D. H. For purposes hereof, “normal work week” for all ARTISTS shall be Monday through Sunday.
I. If requested at the time of contract offer and memorialized in the Individual Artist Agreement, MANAGEMENT shall provide PRINCIPAL ARTISTS with the full Per Diem upon their arrival in MANAGEMENT’s city of origination. All other ARTISTS shall be paid no less than the first seven (7) days of ARTISTS’ contracted per diem Per Diem upon arrival in MANAGEMENT’s city of origination and shall receive each subsequent week’s per diem Per Diem no later than the first day of the normal work week for which the per diem Per Diem is being paid, unless otherwise requested by ARTIST. In addition, all non-resident ARTISTS contracted at the minimum rate shall receive the equivalent of bus or airport shuttle transportation expenses to and from the airports, bus terminal and railway stations upon submission of receipts.

PAYMENT TO ARTISTS. A.

AGMA agrees that it will not require COMPANY's Contractchecks to be certified if bond has been posted according to Paragraph 12.
D. (d) Should the ARTISTS’ payment be insufficient in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or more, the COMPANY, upon request of the ARTIST, shall issue an additional payment to cover the deficiency as soon as possible.
(e) ARTISTS shall be paid no less than the first seven (7) days of ARTISTS’ the ARTIST’s contracted per diem upon arrival in MANAGEMENTthe COMPANY’s city of origination and shall receive each subsequent week’s per diem no later than the first day of the week for which the per diem is being paid, unless otherwise requested by the ARTIST. In addition, all non-resident nonresident ARTISTS contracted at minimum rate rates shall receive the equivalent of bus or airport shuttle limousine transportation expenses to and from the airportsairport, bus terminal and railway stations upon submission of receipts.
E. (f) When MANAGEMENT COMPANY provides (or is prepared to provide) suitable lodging, MANAGEMENT COMPANY may satisfy the per diem requirement herein by the payment of an amount equal to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX hereofParagraph 21(b). If the COMPANY provides housing as part of the ARTIST's negotiated compensation package, Paragraph 35 (Hotel Reservations) does not apply.
F. MANAGEMENT (g) No later than the last performance, the COMPANY will provide ARTIST with a written breakdown of fees and per diem diem, or meal allowance allowances as part of an attachment to the Standard ARTIST's Contract. Such attachment shall also inform ARTIST that HGO makes contributions to AGMA’s Health Fund Plan B on ARTIST’s behalf. [See Exhibit D as attachedappropriate.]
