Common use of Payments Security Deposit Clause in Contracts

Payments Security Deposit. Any obligation (a) to pay Tenant any sum(s) that any Former Landlord owed to Tenant, or (b) with respect to any security deposited with Former Landlord, except to the extent that such security was actually delivered to Lender by Former Landlord and Lender has the legal right to use or apply such security for the purposes provided in the Lease.

Payments Security Deposit. Any obligation (a) to pay Tenant any sum(s) that any Former Landlord former landlord owed to Tenant, or specifically excluding (bi) the return (in accordance with respect the terms of the Lease) of any security deposit delivered by Tenant to any security deposited with Former Landlord, except former landlord as required by the Lease and (ii) any portion of any Construction Allowance available to Tenant pursuant to the extent that such security was actually delivered to Lender by Former Landlord and Lender has the legal right to use or apply such security for the purposes provided in terms of the Lease.
