Common use of Perform a Hazardous Materials Project Impact Evaluation Clause in Contracts

Perform a Hazardous Materials Project Impact Evaluation. for all concerns identified in Section 8.1 “Identify the Hazardous Materials Concern” in the ISA, and for any parcels being acquired for the project (partial or entire takes). If multiple concerns are identified under the same heading in Section 8.1, then each concern shall be investigated as a separate issue (example: The ISA identifies multiple LPST sites within .25 miles of the project. Each LPST shall be evaluated separately under this process). Additionally, the evaluation shall determine the project requirements adjacent to the potential concern and determining potential impacts. The evaluation shall draw conclusions about potential impacts for each concern identified in Section 8.1 of the ISA or acquired property within a category as follows: • Low Potential or No Potential Impacts (Green): The issue has a low potential to impact the proposed project and no further investigations are required. • Additional Information Required (Yellow): Not enough information is currently known about the project and/or the issue to determine potential impacts and further investigations are required. • Impacts Anticipated (Red): The issue has a high potential to impact the proposed project and further investigations may be required. Note: The following tasks (sections c and d) shall only be performed when identified in a project specific Statement of Work (SOW) or as a supplemental SOW.
