Common use of Perform Pre Commencement Screening Clause in Contracts

Perform Pre Commencement Screening. Prior to the Commencement Date specified in this Agreement (or as soon as practicable thereafter), UCMC will perform a background check of any Resident/Fellow, a check of the excluded provider database, and pursuant to the policies of UCMC, will perform a health screening examination (including a drug screening) on Residents/Fellows. Resident/Fellow's failure to obtain satisfactory results from the pre-commencement screening tests will delay the Resident/Fellow's start date and may terminate this Agreement.
