Performance Evaluation Schedule for Temporary. Upgraded Employees This article applies to employees granted temporary upgrades as provided by Article 14, Section 14.3 (Temporary upgrading of employees). Performance evaluations and pay step advancements while serving an acting appointment/temporary upgrade are provided according to the schedules described below: A. Not at the top step. If the employee is not at the top pay step of their original/home classification, then there is no change to the employee’s schedule for performance evaluations and eligibility for merit step advancements. The employee will keep their current/original evaluation date.
