Common use of Performance, Safety & Savings Incentives Clause in Contracts

Performance, Safety & Savings Incentives. The Employer, at its sole discretion, may from time to time implement incentive programs for individuals or groups consisting of awards and/or cash and/or refreshments (For example: coffee and donuts) in recognition of performance improvements, innovative ideas resulting in savings and/or benefits, or other similar improvements that are work related and can be documented and measured. The Employer agrees to furnish the Union with a written copy of the Employer’s incentive plans as they are developed and/or amended from time to time. The Union may withdraw from participation in the program at any time during the life of this Agreement upon written notice to the Employer.
