Peripheral Equipment. For Peripheral Equipment, service under this Agreement is limited to liquid or physical damage and failures. Damaged Peripheral Equipment must be sent back to an authorized Xxxxxxx service center prior to fulfillment of a replacement request.

Peripheral Equipment. In addition to the peripheral equipment available from IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Compaq, Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store product lines from at least three other manufacturers of peripheral equipment so as to accommodate the City’s existing equipment as well as to provide new technologies whose combined product lines include a line of internal and external floppy disks of all sizes and formats, a line of CD-ROMs, CD-Rs, and CD-Ws in all sizes and formats, and a line of ZIP/Jazz drives. In addition to the product lines from IBM, Hewlett Packard and Compaq, Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store a product line from at least two other monitor manufacturers whose product lines include XGA (1024 x 768) and SXGA (1280 x 1024) and color monitors for Windows; UNIX, and MacIntosh; low emission (MPRII standard), Energy Star (Federal EPA standards), and Flat Screen LCD. Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store at least two manufacturers’ brands of plotters. Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store at least three manufacturers’ brands of scanners. Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store the product lines from at least two manufacturers’ brands of external surge protectors whose combined product lines contain at least one six-socket surge protector. Contractor must offer for sale through the Computer Store product lines from at least two manufacturers’ brands of external modems whose product lines each contain 56,000 baud data and ITU V.90 standard. Network/Workstation/Single User Free Services Contractor shall provide the following services without charge to Ordering Departments : Product comparisons. Demonstrations and side-by-side comparisons of hardware and software. Evaluations of equipment and software. Single user system configurations. Workstation detailed design, configuration, and recommended product list. Technical consultation services regarding the proper configuration of hardware and software for each customer’s environment. Provision of a LAN/WAN planning guide to City customers for any network service project. Pre-delivery testing of system configurations to ensure their operational status. Strict adherence to all manufacturers’ warranties and guarantees on products sold. Submission of a manufacturer’s technical literature for any or all systems and products sold through the Computer Store. Installation of operating software on hardware. Online catalogs.
Peripheral Equipment. In the case of computer peripheral equipment, such as printers and scanners, covered by this Agreement, they will not include the replacement repair or rectification of any user replaceable items or any of the following parts of that equipment:-drums mechanism including sprocket spring feed platens rollers friction devices print heads ink jets or other mechanical imprinting heads paper or sheet feeding mechanisms or trays any options not specified in the attached Schedule, output collecting trays or mechanisms or any font cartridges or emulation cartridges connected to the equipment subsequent to its manufacturer or any damage caused to the electric circuitry of the equipment as a result of the connection of any such peripherals to the Goods or by the connection to the Goods of any peripheral not manufactured by the manufacturer of the Goods.
Peripheral Equipment. Peripheral data processing equipment for use by the Participating Districts at their facilities may be acquired by the Council on behalf of the Participating Districts. Title to peripheral equipment may be held in the name of the Council or in the name of the Participating District for which such equipment was acquired, as determined by the Board of Directors. All equipment which is used by a Participating District in connection with the Computer Systems Program shall conform to any standards that may be established by the Board of Directors to assure proper operation of the Computer Systems Program for the benefit of all Participating Districts. The Executive Director of the Council or other official designated by the Board of Directors (including on a temporary or interim basis) shall serve as the “Executive Director” of the Program. The Executive Director shall assign the Program’s peripheral equipment to Participating Districts in accordance with the policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director shall have the discretion to change the assignment of any peripheral equipment at any time, consistent with the Board of Director’s policies. Participating Districts may purchase such other equipment as needed for future applications, provided that if the Board of Directors establishes standards for peripheral equipment, the Participating District must obtain written approval from the Board of Directors that the equipment proposed to be purchased conforms to the standards established by the Board of Directors and the uses of the peripheral equipment proposed by the Participating District conforms to the purposes of this Program. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the Participating District to which peripheral equipment is assigned is responsible for operating and paying the costs of operating such peripheral equipment during the time assigned, including providing a site for such peripheral equipment and obtaining the necessary permit therefor, as prescribed in the Department Rules, hiring personnel to staff such peripheral equipment and paying the salaries and benefits of such personnel, who shall be employees of the board of education of that Participating District. The Participating District shall not be reimbursed by the Program or any other Participating District for any such costs.

Students must not rely solely on the continued integrity of data on their personal learning device.
Peripheral Equipment. Students will need to bring wired headphones for specific curriculum areas. Students should not bring unnecessary peripheral equipment, including power chargers and cables, to school with their device. Liability for damage or loss of peripheral equipment will in all circumstances be the responsibility of the student.
