Permissions/Inclusions Check Sample Clauses

Permissions/Inclusions Check. While at the candidate’s desk after the Identification check the Invigilator must check the permissions/inclusions. If there are any disputes or issues with this check please call Aspeq immediately. Do not start the session until this has been resolved. • Ensure candidates only have the materials or equipment (permissions and inclusions) that are specified on the session roll and candidate's booking confirmation. • Invigilators must be fully aware that for some of the Aspeq examinations, candidates are permitted to bring into the examination room certain books and other items of equipment to assist them in answering the questions. • The permissions and inclusions can be updated at any time. Invigilators are to refer to the session rolls and any messages for up-to-date information. • The Invigilator does not need to make any subjective judgement as to what material is acceptable should a candidate request acceptance/approval of an unspecified material or equipment. If it is not listed on the session roll, then it is not to be accepted. • Any materials that are permitted to be supplied by the candidate for the examination shall be in strict accordance with what is defined as permissible for the examination. • Candidates are not to be permitted to use any paper other than the "official" paper (KAIR717) that is supplied from Aspeq Head Office. Only some examinations will require paper and this will be specified on the session roll. Any extra paper given on the request of a candidate (only for exams where paper is listed as an inclusion) must be noted on the session roll and collected at the end of the exam. • Candidates are advised via their booking confirmation of the correct publication or equipment to bring to the examination. This is the candidate's responsibility and should they fail to bring all the requirements, they are to be told that they have the option of completing the examination without the material or abandoning the examination. • If they decide to abandon the examination, they are to be referred to Aspeq Head Office for their next course of action as they may forfeit their exam fee. • Under no circumstances are candidates to be permitted to borrow from, share publications or equipment with other candidates in the examination room. • Some Aviation exams allow the use of calculators in the examination.
