PERMITS, LICENSES AND TAXES. A. Pursuant to Section 218.80, F.S., the County will pay for all County permits and fees, including license fees, permit fees, impact fees or inspection fees applicable to the work. Contractor is not responsible for paying for permits issued by the County wherein the work is to be performed, but is responsible for acquiring all permits. The County may require the Contractor to deliver internal budget transfer documents to applicable County agencies when the Contractor is acquiring permits. B. All permits, fees and licenses necessary for the prosecution of the Work which are not issued by the County shall be acquired and paid for by the Contractor. C. Contractor shall pay any and all sales, use, or other taxes, assessments and other similar charges when due, as required by any local, state of federal law, as it pertains to the services provided herein. Contractor further agrees that it shall protect, reimburse, and indemnify the County from and assume all liability for its tax obligations under the terms of this Agreement.
