Permitted Activities During Working Hours. Upon notification to the Fire Chief, the Union representative will be permitted reasonable time during duty hours, without loss of pay or benefits, to investigate, process, and attend hearings or meetings on grievances, but in such a way that will not unnecessarily interfere with fire and rescue operations.
