Permitted Copy One Generation Copies. Subject to the requirements of Sections 2.5-2.7, a Licensed Product may not make, or cause to be made, a copy of Copy One Generation Decrypted DT Data unless each copy (a) is made as a Transitory Image or (b) is made using a method set out in Section 2.2.1. A Licensed Product may, alternatively, treat such Decrypted DT Data as Copy Never, provided that no retention under Section 2.1.1 of this Part 1 is permitted.

Permitted Copy One Generation Copies. Licensed Products shall not make, or cause to be made, copies on the storage media embedded in such Licensed Products of Commercial Audiovisual Content labeled “Copy One Generation” unless such copies are encrypted using MG-R(SVR) and the Copy Control Information is updated according to the SVR CP Specifications to reflect the fact that a copy is being made.
