Personal Conference Clause Samples
The Personal Conference clause establishes the requirement or right for parties to meet in person to discuss issues, disputes, or concerns arising under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines when and how such meetings should be initiated, who should attend, and the timeframe for holding the conference. Its core practical function is to encourage direct communication and facilitate the resolution of problems before escalating to formal dispute resolution processes, thereby promoting efficiency and cooperation.
Personal Conference. Prior to submitting a Recommendation for Dismissal to the President, the ▇▇▇▇ and the Academic Vice President shall meet and discuss a draft of the Recommendation for Dismissal with the faculty member. Notification regarding the purpose of this Section 16.3 meeting shall be provided to the faculty member in writing prior to the meeting. The faculty member shall also be notified in writing of the right to have SCEA representation attend the meeting.
