Personal Development Training Sample Clauses
The Personal Development Training clause establishes the employer's commitment to providing opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge relevant to their roles. Typically, this clause outlines the types of training available, such as workshops, seminars, or online courses, and may specify whether participation is mandatory or voluntary, as well as who bears the associated costs. Its core practical function is to support employee growth and ensure the workforce remains competent and up-to-date, thereby benefiting both the individual and the organization.
Personal Development Training. Training programs the Employee wishes to take that are not required for current position.
Personal Development Training. The employer shall allow an employee to take an education leave and access the education allowance to attend a course of study that does not relate to an employee’s current position, but can be rationalized as providing the employee with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge for other positions within the Thunder Creek.
Personal Development Training. Employees may participate in training for personal development at the employee's own expense and on the appropriate leave status (subject to approval of the EMPLOYER) in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
Personal Development Training. Upon approval of the employee’s immediate supervisor and Director, training intended to provide individual growth or development for skills not currently applicable, may be partially funded as follows.
1. The Employer will pay up to $100 per employee, per semester, not to exceed the cost of the program, or up to $200 per fiscal year.
2. Payment will be made upon receipt of proof of completion of the class or program.
3. This training must be on the employee’s own time and is not covered by Education Leave under paragraph E of this Article.
Personal Development Training. Training completed by an employee to gain accreditation in a skill or range of skills not necessarily required for use in their everyday employment.
Personal Development Training. Training sought by the Employee for their own personal development, enhancement or improvement that may or may not be directly related to their current position may be identified as Personal Development Training.
4.5.3.1. The Employer encourages individuals to undertake Personal Development Training in accordance with Employer procedures.
4.5.3.2. Employees absent whilst undergoing this training may be paid their normal wage at the discretion of the Employer.
4.5.3.3. Where the Employee is a shift worker and requires an absence to conduct an element of the Personal Development Training e.g. exam, the Employee shall be transferred to day work for the duration of that element of the Personal Development Training.
