Personal Harassment. (i) The Employer and the Union recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from personal harassment and agree to cooperate in attempting to resolve complaints of personal harassment which may arise in the workplace. (ii) For the purposes of this Article: (a) Personal harassment is generally a pattern of behaviour consisting of offensive comments, bullying or actions that serve to demean, belittle or intimidate an employee(s) or cause personal humiliation; (b) Personal harassment may include conduct related to unlawful discrimination under the Human Rights Code; (c) Personal harassment does not include reasonable management activities to direct and manage the work force, including counseling, performance management and corrective discipline. (iii) Cases of personal harassment shall, if not resolved, be eligible to be processed as a grievance.
