Common use of Pest Infestation Clause in Contracts

Pest Infestation. Tenant agrees to report any non-routine pests including fleas, bedbugs, cockroaches to management within 7 days of move-in. If no report is made, it will be assumed that the Premises was delivered pest free. If pests are discovered during the lease term it will be presumed that the pests were introduced by the tenant unless proven otherwise. Tenant agrees to report pest issues to management as soon as it is known or identified to or by the Tenant. Management reserves the right to treat the premises for pests and charge tenant for treatment.
