Pet Kennels or Containers. (i) Kennels or containers must be made of wood, metal or plastic. (ii) Kennels or containers must be big enough to allow the animal to stand, turn and lay down comfortably. (iii) Kennels or containers must be sturdy enough to prevent the animal from escaping during its handling and transportation. (iv) Doors must have safety locks which allow opening the door without the need of any special tool. (v) Kennels or containers must have holes for proper ventilation. (vi) Kennels or containers must have a system to collect the pet’s waste during transportation. (vii) The dimensions of containers or kennels to transport pets in the passenger cabin must not exceed the following dimensions: Hard-sided kennels: Width - 13 inches, Length - 17 inches, Height –
