  • SALES TAX Each Participating Entity is responsible for supplying the Supplier with valid tax- exemption certification(s). When ordering, a Participating Entity must indicate if it is a tax- exempt entity.

  • STATUTORY TAX DISTRICTS If the Property is situated in a utility or other statutorily created district providing water, sewer, drainage, or flood control facilities and services, Chapter 49, Texas Water Code, requires Seller to deliver and Buyer to sign the statutory notice relating to the tax rate, bonded indebtedness, or standby fee of the district prior to final execution of this contract.

  • Business Tax The Consultant represents and warrants that it currently has a City business tax certificate or exemption, if qualified, and will maintain such certificate or exemption for the Master Agreement term.

  • Sales Taxes The Seller shall bear and pay, and shall reimburse the Purchaser and the Purchaser’s affiliates for, any sales taxes, use taxes, transfer taxes, documentary charges, recording fees or similar taxes, charges, fees or expenses that may become payable in connection with the sale of the Assets to the Purchaser or in connection with any of the other Transactions.

  • State Sales and Use Taxes The Owner qualifies for exemption from certain State and Local Sales and Use Taxes pursuant to the provisions of Tex. Tax Code, Chapter 151. Contractor shall not be entitled to reimbursement for taxes paid on items that are exempt from taxation.

  • Certified and Minority Business Enterprises Reports Upon Customer request, the Contractor shall report to the requesting Customer the Contractor’s spend with certified and other minority business enterprises in the provision of commodities or services related to the Customer’s orders. These reports shall include the period covered, the name, minority code, and Federal Employer Identification Number of each minority business utilized during the period; commodities and services provided by the minority business enterprise, and the amount paid to each minority business enterprise on behalf of the Customer.

  • Franchise Tax Certification If PROVIDER is a taxable entity subject to the Texas Franchise Tax (Chapter 171, Texas Tax Code), then PROVIDER certifies that it is not currently delinquent in the payment of any franchise (margin) taxes or that PROVIDER is exempt from the payment of franchise (margin) taxes.

  • Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise (“IVBE”) participation plan.   • Council Tax Payment of Council tax will normally be the responsibility of the Tenants in the Property. However, landlords should be aware that where a property is empty, let as holiday accommodation, or let as a house in multiple occupation (HMO) responsibility for payment of council tax then rests with the owner of the Property.
