Phased Early Retirement. The Phased Early Retirement Option provides for reduced load employment following a faculty member’s retirement from his/her full-time appointment. Where a faculty member’s application for this option is approved by the President, he/she shall enter into an agreement with the College in which the faculty member makes an intentional, intelligent and voluntary waiver of any and all tenure rights and the College agrees to employ the faculty member on a reduced load for a time certain in the future. All terms of such arrangements shall be specified in written agreement between the College and the faculty member.
