Common use of Photograph Consent and Waiver Clause in Contracts

Photograph Consent and Waiver. You grant permission to VIU to use photographs or videotapes taken of you in or about the VIU Student Residence for use in advertising, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, electronic publications and magazines relating to the VIU Student Residence. You waive any right to inspect or approve any finished photograph or videotape that may be used in conjunction with a photograph or videotape now or in the future and waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of any such media. If you are under 19 years of age, the parent or legal guardian signing this Agreement consents to this waiver. 9 Role of the Emergency Contacts and Protection of Privacy
