Placement for Adoption or Xxxxxx Care. An eligible unit member may take leave for the placement of a child for adoption or xxxxxx care prior to the actual placement of the child. For example, the unit member may take leave to attend counseling sessions or appear in court or consult with the unit member’s attorney in connection with the placement of a child.
