Common use of - POLICE AND REGULATORY POWERS Clause in Contracts

- POLICE AND REGULATORY POWERS. By executing this Renewal License, the Licensee acknowledges that its rights are subject to the lawfully exercised powers of the Town to adopt and enforce by-laws of general applicability necessary to the safety and welfare of the public. The Licensee shall comply with all applicable DPW regulations and any by-laws lawfully enacted by the Town. Any conflict between the terms of this Renewal License and any such lawful exercise of the Town's police and regulatory powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.

Any conflict between the terms of this Renewal License and any such present or future lawful exercise of the TownCity's police and applicable regulatory powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.
