Policy, Applicability of Agreement and Subcontracting. (a) The purposes of this Article are to protect and preserve the work opportunities available to employees covered by this Agreement who have traditionally and historically performed the work covered by the classifications and job duties set forth in the IATSE Basic Agreement, the Videotape Electronics Supplemental Basic Agreement ("Videotape Agreement"), and the West Coast Studio Local and Basic Crafts Agreements.
