Common use of POPI ACT Clause in Contracts

POPI ACT. 22.1. The Purchaser confirms that he/she understands that the purpose for the collection and/or distribution of his/her personal information is to conclude a sale agreement which the Purchaser wants to enter into with the Seller as well as the Seller to assist with a bond application and to administer the sale process. 22.2. The Purchaser hereby confirms that he/she understands that the Seller will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the Purchaser’s personal information in its possession and that the Seller will take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent loss or damage and unlawful access to the Purchaser’s personal information. 22.3. The Purchaser hereby confirm that he/she understands that the Seller may not retain the records of the Purchaser’s personal information any longer than is necessary and will dispose thereof as soon as it is no longer required. 22.4.
