Common use of Posting of Work Rules Clause in Contracts

Posting of Work Rules. When existing rules are changed or new rules are established by the Employer, they shall be posted prominently on existing bulletin boards in respective buildings for a period of five (5) work days before becoming effective unless emergency conditions dictate otherwise. A copy of such change or new rule shall also be sent to the Union president. Any change in work rules conflicting with the provisions of this Agreement shall be settled through the grievance procedure.
