Power Down for Delphinoid Cetaceans and Pinnipeds. If a delphinoid cetacean or pinniped is sighted at or within the exclusion zone, the Lessee must immediately power down the electromechanical survey equipment to the lowest power output that is technically feasible. The Lessee must ensure that the vessel operator immediately complies with such a call by the PSO. Any disagreement or discussion must occur only after power-down. Subsequent restart of the electromechanical survey equipment must use the ramp-up procedures described in 4.
