Precautionary Measures. If required by Facility, student must provide necessary assurance or evidence of acceptable health levels. University is not responsible to guarantee health status of student.
Precautionary Measures. Natural disasters such as storm, wind, or fire are not predictable, but the Resident can deter theft and burglary by taking sensible safety precautions. Resident should keep all doors and windows locked – even when the Resident is home. Many crimes against persons and personal possessions take place in the daylight hours. Resident should xxxx all personal valuables and appliances with some sort of identification and keep a list of serial numbers in a safe place. This improves the likelihood of personal possession recovery, should a loss occur.
Precautionary Measures. Each Party will take adequate security and precautionary measures to effect compliance with this Section 3.3 by its Authorized Representatives who shall be given access to Confidential Information as permitted herein and will be responsible for such compliance by such Persons.
Precautionary Measures. 4.32.1. Insulation of Live Parts All equipment required to be insulated in order to obviate danger to life or property, shall be thoroughly insulated by the Contractor at its expense. Lamps, wires, conductors, and other movable equipment shall be placed in such locations and in such manner as will prevent unauthorized persons from handling or tampering with them. Ladders, guards, etc. shall not be left attached to or resting against lampposts or poles.
Precautionary Measures. 245. Any person who institutes or intends to institute proceedings for infringement may request the competent national authority to order immediate precautionary measures with the view to preventing the infringement from being committed, avoiding its consequences, securing or preserving evidence or ensuring the effectiveness of the action or compensation for damages and prejudice. The precautionary measures may be requested before the action is brought, in conjunction with it or after it has been brought. 246. The following precautionary measures among others may be ordered:
(a) the immediate cessation of the acts constituting the alleged infringement;
(b) the withdrawal from commercial channels of the goods resulting from the alleged infringement, including containers, packaging, labels, printed matter or advertising or other material, and also the material and means that mainly served for the commission of the infringement;
(c) the suspension of the import or export of the goods, materials or means referred to in the foregoing subparagraphs;
(d) the provision of sufficient security by the alleged infringer; and
(e) the temporary closure of the establishment of the defendant or accused, where necessary to avoid the continuation or recurrence of the alleged infringement.
Precautionary Measures. There are some precautionary measures that the Customer should take to ensure the longevity of electrical components supplied by the Company. These include: • The use of computer protective jumper leads between the vehicle and the power source, when jump starting a vehicle; and • The use of waterproof enclosures for units that are likely to be exposed to water/high moisture levels. Please request this enclosure at time of order.
Precautionary Measures. (1) Upon reasoned request by the applicant party, the requested party shall take precautionary measures to ensure recovery of a claim insofar as the laws and regulations in force in the State of the requested party so permit.
(2) For the purposes of implementing the first paragraph, the provisions and procedures laid down in Articles 59, 60, 62 and 63 of this Annex shall apply mutatis mutandis.

In the performance of its work, the Contractor will at all times take the necessary precautions to reduce to a minimum any hindrance to the Principal, the Principal’s properties, the properties adjacent to the Construction Site and the users of those properties, and to any other parties that perform any activity whatsoever on the Construction Site. In the event that such nuisance in the performance of the work is inevitable, the Contractor must provide the Principal with prior notification to this effect, in order that the parties may consult with one another to determine the appropriate measures, if applicable. If appropriate, the Contractor will already specify any measures and preconditions upon registration. If appropriate, and in any event at any time the Principal requests it, a contradictory schedule of condition must be prepared for the adjacent properties prior to the commencement of the work. The Contractor must take the necessary measures to accomplish this.
Precautionary Measures. Tenant, at Tenant's sole cost, shall take all reasonable precautionary measures ("Precautionary Measures") to prevent structural damage to the Premises as a result of Tenant's Management of Hazardous Substances. Such Precautionary Measures shall include, as necessary, but shall not be limited to, installation and use of secondary containment facilities; seal coating the floors and roof structures on a routine basis; continuous monitoring of aboveground and underground storage tanks; continual monitoring of concrete floors and paved areas for any pitting or cracks; installation and maintenance of special exhaust systems or drains for prevention of rusting or corrosion within the Premises; and, to the extent required by Environmental Laws, maintenance of special waste water treatment or sewer discharge systems for the lawful discharge of any Hazardous Substances. Tenant, at Tenant's sole cost, shall maintain the Premises in good condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted, and repair any damage to the Premises resulting directly or indirectly from Tenant's Management, or the Release or presence of Hazardous Substances in, on, under, or about the Premises.
