Common use of Precautionary Measures Clause in Contracts

Precautionary Measures. Natural disasters such as storm, wind, or fire are not predictable, but the Resident can deter theft and burglary by taking sensible safety precautions. Resident should keep all doors and windows locked – even when the Resident is home. Many crimes against persons and personal possessions take place in the daylight hours. Resident should xxxx all personal valuables and appliances with some sort of identification and keep a list of serial numbers in a safe place. This improves the likelihood of personal possession recovery, should a loss occur.
