Common use of Premium Pay Clause in Contracts

Premium Pay. All time worked in excess of one hundred and seventy-six (176) hours in four (4) weeks (based on a 4-week schedule at 44 hours per week) or in excess of twelve (12) hours in any one day, shall be considered as overtime on the basis of time and one half ( 1 ½), subject to the following conditions: a) the nurse is authorized by her supervisor to work overtime, b) the overtime exceeds fifteen (15) minutes.

Premium Pay. a) All time worked in excess of one hundred and seventy-six eighty (17680) hours in four (4) weeks (based on a 4-per week schedule at 44 hours per week) pay period or in excess of twelve the nurse’s scheduled shift of the day, provided that the scheduled shift is a minimum of eight (12) hours in any one day8) hours, shall be considered as overtime on the basis of time and one half ( 1 ½(1.5), subject to based on the following conditions: a) : that it is initiated by the nurse is authorized by her supervisor employer to work overtime, b) extend the overtime exceeds fifteen (15) minutes8 hour or more shift as a result of sickness or weather conditions.
