Common use of Premium Pay Clause in Contracts

Premium Pay. All time worked in excess of one hundred and seventy-six (176) hours in four (4) weeks (based on a 4-week schedule at 44 hours per week) or in excess of twelve (12) hours in any one day, shall be considered as overtime on the basis of time and one half ( 1 ½), subject to the following conditions: a) the nurse is authorized by her supervisor to work overtime, b) the overtime exceeds fifteen (15) minutes.
