Common use of Prequel, Sequel and Spin-Off Rights Clause in Contracts

Prequel, Sequel and Spin-Off Rights. The radio and Podcast prequel, sequel, and spin-off rights (as such terms are understood in the entertainment industry) in respect of a Script for a Play, Original Series or (if available) of a Source to Script Transfer, and as regards any additional Format element or character contributed by the Writer in respect of a Series (other than a Long Running Series) where the BBC owns or provides the Format are reserved to the Writer provided that:
