Prescribing Compatible Uses. All compatible use authorizations (CUA) must be in writing and supported by a technical determination in the case file that clearly documents the basis of activities considered to meet compatibility requirements and guidelines for implementation. NRCS will consult with FWS or NMFS, to ensure that the use is compatible with the habitat requirements for the targeted species. The CUA must include a statement that NRCS has the right to review and revise or terminate the authorization at any time to protect the functions and values of the enrollment area.
