Prevailing Language Version Sample Clauses

The Prevailing Language Version clause establishes which language version of a contract will take precedence in the event of discrepancies between different translations. Typically, this clause specifies that if there is a conflict or inconsistency between the versions, one designated language—often English—will be considered the authoritative text. This ensures that all parties are clear about which version governs their rights and obligations, thereby preventing misunderstandings and disputes arising from translation errors or ambiguities.
